Say cheese :D

Photo booths.....?

What I have noticed over the last couple of events I have been to is that photo booths are definitely the next big thing!

Every event with it being a birthday party, wedding or work events I've seen many different types of photo booths.

I must say this was definitely a great idea for myself when I turned 21 I wanted to remember the night by photos and what a greater way than to have a photo booth which you can dress up and have a laugh and look back at the pictures the next morning and think oh what did I do last night!

There as many different types of photo booths such as oval ones, square ones, automatic ones, you have to decide depending on your event and what size you have to fit one in to which one you have and the prices of ones aren't even that bad.

For my 21st I kind of went for a different look, I had a photography company come and do it so they set up a screen and brought along the props and took the photos by hand and took photos throughout the night which for my party was great because most of the night everyone was to busy dancing away.

These are a few of the photos that were taken as there was over 300 of them I selected 3 that sum up the night.

The people that done my event were these! Check them out if your in east Sussex definitely worth the money even if your wanting to have family portraits done.

Next photo booth I came along was for my Uncles 40th.

These people definitely a great time as they had unlimited props.

With this company you got a photo album and copy each for the people in the photo. I think by the end of the night I came home with over 20 different set of photos as after a couple of wine its hard not to be in the booth all the time.

Next one was my deputy's managers wedding night.

They had a square photo booth which was great but added bonus they had a wind machine. This was fantastic as the wedding was one of the many hottest days/evenings of the night.
These are the guy's facebook page

This night was amazing to be able to get the whole work gang and a few customers to have a good night out even if it was for a wedding.

Last but not least was my auntie Katie's wedding. Which if you've been reading I wrote about her hen do a couple of weeks ago. They had a oval photo booth which one of her friend own and run which was handy. They had a wide variety of props you could use which was great as then you could have a different look every photo you done. They also gave her a photo book and prints for customers so we could go home with them, then again I seem to come home with loads as well.

So if your having a wedding or birthday party or any occasion which you think oh we could use a photo booth, definitely get one! Worth every penny and you'll even get a photo book to remember it all.

Hope you enjoyed reading, next post will be about musicals so i'm looking forward to writing about that!

       Much love

What is better 1 hen do ...... 2 hen do's

First part of any hen do:

Night time

When it comes to hen do's I must say are not my typical thing as anything to do with sexual games or public talking is not my forte, just think of Miranda and how she is around speaking about sex, and that is me to a tee!

My first ever hen do experience was great until I came to playing adult games I thought id surprise myself and actually play along for the first time yet did I know I would actually regret it later. Unfortunately the hen was a friend of mum and I so of course we both went and then we ended up playing this game where you would sit in a circle of chairs and you go around the room asking a question and if your answer was yes you had to move 1 space to the left, which meant if the person to your left hadn't moved you had to sit on their lap. I'm guessing the winner was who ever made it round the most times after a while. This would of been a great game but having to answer any and naughty questions with my mum around definitely was slightly awkward, fair to say we came out that night properly knowing more about each other than we actually wanted too.

So when it came around that my auntie Katie was getting married I was so nervous to say the least if it was going to be the same as before or something completely different.

When I found out we was going for a meal in the old town in Hastings I was so happy to think I've finally managed to go to a hen and not feel weird about it.
Perfect timing for my cousin, my niece and myself to go dress shopping any old excuse I can get for buying new dresses is great, not that I need one as I probably own a different dress for every occasion I go to as I'm one of these people I wont like wearing the same thing twice. Which most likely isn't the best idea for my little credit card.  OOOOPPPSS is what goes through my head every time I see the amount at the check out.

So I found the perfect dresses for the occasion and it came to the first hen do which was the meal out to porters wine bar. Wine and food what could be better than that?!?!?!?

For me getting ready doesn't take hours as I can be dressed, make up, and hair all done just under 2 hours. Skills right there I think :P

We arrived at the meal to find out we had the whole of the downstairs bit to the restaurant and it had all the decorations and things looking all pretty and also a picture of a man with a bull's-eye target over his private parts which was obviously another game instead of pin the tail on the donkey, you'd probably be able to guess the name of that game. There was a seating plan and to our seats the bride had given everyone little gifts and treats which I thought was a lovely idea and they had little name tags on them so we knew which ones were ours. I think when anyone has a little party or wedding they should do these.

The meal was amazing I had the steak and it came with a hot rock which you could cook your steak to the way you liked it. But when it came to pudding my mind was set on warm chocolate brownie, yum yum....
so along came the waitress to ask what everyone wanted and fair to all everyone wanted brownie, to which she replied we are out of brownies. Probably wasn't the best idea to say that to 14 ladies who had a few bottles of wine together that there was no chocolate brownie. But they sorted it out and gave us all our puddings for free which was lovely. That all finished and the younger ladies of the group had decided lets make the most of this and go clubbing whilst we can and of course the bride came along too. Luckily her brother works at a strip club so we got into there to see him. First time ever in a strip club my first thought was where in the earth do I even look?? It was a nice little strip club but we didn't last there very long as we all wanted to get up and dance so we left to go towards to next night club but just before we left we had to take a picture outside just to prove to everyone that we did go there and we wasn't lying about it..

Off we went with all our high heels in our hands as all of us girl's feet were killing. Glad there was no broken glass on the floor otherwise that would of slightly hurt. Yates was the place we ended up and my auntie definitely got a good night as we had some guy give her a little lap dance and a poll dance too which she even got up and done! Well done auntie Katie on that! I think I must of made it home around 3 in the morning as I didn't want to stay out to late as I had a busy day at work in the morning. Here's some of the pictures throughout the night.

Today was the day of the 2nd hen do the Afternoon tea.
I love afternoon tea so much, giving me another excuse to dress up all posh is fantastic!

So we had booked Courtney's tea room which was located in Bexhill old town. I must say they were absolutely amazing the serve and what there was on offer was great.
This is there facebook page which I must say if you live in the East Sussex you must check it out they are worth every penny you pay.

All in all it was a great hen day and night. Definitely look forward to the wedding next week which you will all get updated on next Sunday in that blog post. Hope you all liked

Much love

Let's go to the beach each, lets go get away

Beach Day

Yesterday was my day off so my not so little cousin & my niece decided Wednesday night that if it was as hot as it was on Wednesday we would go to the beach hut and have a fun filled day at the beach.

Luckily we woke up and there wasn't a cloud in the sky! (whoop whoop as I thought to myself when I woke up and opened my curtains)

We decided instead of buying food somewhere and spending god knows how much on drinks & meals, that we would take a picnic. We split between us who was bringing what food....

So I was in charge of making the sandwiches and healthy bits and amber was in charge of the extra food.

I thought it was the best idea to make the food just before we left so it was cooler and fresh for the long day ahead instead of making it the night before (which would of probably meant I got more of a lay in)

  I made
  • Homemade egg sandwiches
  • Homemade coleslaw
  • Homemade potato salad
  • Cucumber sticks

As you can tell, I do tend to make a lot of home made stuff which is of course tastes a lot better than something that is brought from a store. I packed it all in my little posh picnic basket and got all the plates and cutlery sorted out, of course I couldn't forget the ice packs as we definitely needed that extra coldness with the weather.

Off we set to the beach which where we decided to set up camp as you say, it wasn't busy luckily as I would say there was only 20 families give or take.

Definitely took a while to set up the children's shade tent, which we should of had a guy there just to make us look not as funny trying to put this thing up.

I must say we did a good job! :P

We then got changed into our swimming costumes and put our sun cream on as we didn't want to burn. Unfortunately as I'm blonde I'm rather fair skinned so even with factor 50 sun-cream I can burn, so I had to keep applying every hour and even wear a massive sun hat, which I must say I definitely looked like an old lady in but it was fashionable.

My little niece was definitely the cutest as she had an blue all in one swimming costume with little white ducks on it! She was just standing near the edge of the water looking rather scared of the little waves coming towards here. I thought lets go for a paddle, which then turned into walking quite far as the tide was out! (to much effort for just a little paddle) but I would hold her hands and make it out that she was jumping over every wave that came along, whilst walking further into the sea. Not that she noticed as she was too busy laughing at the splashes she would be making.

Amber then came up behind us with her phone in her hands
BRAVE THATS FOR SURE!!
to get a nice little family photo of us in the sea, wasn't exactly the best photo as we was trying so hard not the drop the phone in the water.

After all the swimming and throwing stones into the sea we thought now would be the perfect time to start lunch. As we didn't want to get poorly tummies from eating then going into the sea straight afterwards.
It all went which was good and which meant I must be a good home cooker!
In total we must of been there for over 3 hours and the heat I think was slowing taking its toll on all of us as we was all starting to get really tired.

We packed up everything and even the shade tent took quite a well for us girls to take down probably even longer than putting it up!

But all in all it was a fantastic day at the beach, making the most of the hot weather whilst we have it! Even though we seem to complain when its too cold and even when its too hot, but we wouldn't be British if we didn't complain!

I didn't even know till this morning when I woke up to 4 snapchats of the lighting storm during the early hours of today. I must of been that tired I spelt through that and I'm a light sleeper!
Well I'm going to leave my beach blog there and start on my musical one!

Hope you all enjoyed reading about my day at the beach!

Love you all

Once upon a time? Real or not?

Once upon a time is a start of every good book or story your'll ever read/tell...
We have grown up dreaming of our happily ever after, have we not?
Girls dreaming about what their wedding dress, dream husband & even what children they'll have! I'm even sure some guys out their have dreamed the same things too, even if they don't want to admit it!!

Well what if your childhood dreams was crushed by one single person? How do you pick yourself back up? Get your confidence back? Be able to feel normal??

These are the questions I had to face myself with when what I thought my whole dreams & wishes was taken away from me :(

The memories of that day are still so clear as if it only happened yesterday but in real fact it was just over 3 years ago! Remembering myself watching my parents faces and see their eyes fill with tears and trying so hard not to cry because they didn't want me to see them upset. Why do we always seem to relive the bad memories?!

Since I was a little girl I have always dreamed of having a little house with the white picket fence & the perfect husband & children... As being a only child I grew up always looking after my little cousins & always being told I was the mother of my friends group at nursery. (Love hearing about your childhood memories don't you?) so as I was saying I grew up wanting to work with children so become a teacher or a nursery worker so I went to school/college and got all my degrees that I needed and I'm now a fully qualified child care worker, only took 5 years & more to do it!

But that's only half the story....

Sorry if it's taken me a little longer to get into the story it's just trying to find the right words to explain it to you all..

So long story short just over 3 years ago I got told I have PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) which when I first got told by the hospital I had absolutely no clue what he was talking about (should of paid attention more in science i thought to myself) but by looking over at my mums face I could tell it wasn't exactly something good and it that space of that moment I wanted to world to just open a hole and swallow me up or wake up thinking it was a bad nightmare... We had thought finally they have found out what was actually wrong with me as it took them 2 years to find out what I had.. After many hospital over nights, ultrasounds & doctors appointments & loads & loads of blood tests we finally found out, I was so relived that I wouldn't need to go through all that again but then think I'd be having to go through completely new stuff just to try and fix it or make it better. So I got told to go home and research what they had told me which in some ways could of been a bad thing as many people most likely get poorly & look into Google and they think there dying and makes things 100x's worse than they actually are! (Hands up, I must admit I probably am one of those people though opps)

For a while I just curled back into my shell as so to say and didn't want to come out. I felt like I couldn't even speak to any of my family about it or even my friends which I knew they were all there for me but I just felt so disappointed in myself that I couldn't face speaking to anyone about it, let alone mention anything to do with the subject without crying. So I bottled everything up and closed the lid. I'm one of those people that if I never spoke about it, it wasn't real so if I did ever speak about it I felt so disappointed in myself as what a women is meant to do I wouldn't be able to do anymore & I had no clue what was going to happen to me in the future? Being a 19 year old being told you may not be able to have children definitely was a dream crusher which for a while I thought to myself is these once upon a time's & happily ever after real or not?

But now I'm 21 and been through all the hospital appointments and spoken to people that know about my syndrome it has made me more confident about what my future holds for me, as they say when 1 door closes a window will open ... And having my true friends & family around has made a big difference as I'm able to speak about it now without crying which is an achievement in its self :) but it's make me realise don't take anything for granted as you may have something one day & it could be gone the next! So I hope with anyone that is reading this that you have something that makes you want to curl up in your shell, don't be afraid to... Time is the best healer & as long as you've family and fantastic friends that's all your'll need to help you through even the darkest of days!!

So opening up has lifted a huge bolder of my shoulders and I feel more relived!

Thank you to all the little louloubells for listening!

                                                     This is Louloubell signing out

It's been a year already?!

A weekend in Paris

Facebook these days have come up with a new app which where you can see what you have done on a certain day over the years. Mine happened to be my holiday trip to Paris. I can't believe its been a year already! Wow time does fly past quick when your having fun!

So this trip we went from Sunday to Wednesday as it came up cheaper to start the holiday on the Sunday. There was my Mum, Uncle Ian & Auntie Claudia & my little cousin Rosey and myself obviously.

I think we left round 4:30AM to catch the first shuttle train to France. I remember I didn't sleep well that night so I mostly slept the whole car journey. Which is a good thing as I suffer from really bad travel sickness :(

So we arrived in Paris with my mum driving the car, she done a fantastic job considering she'd never drove aboard before and especially in France they drive on the right side of the road, so to get used to that took a while. We got to our IBIS hotel which was cosy and definitely worth the money.

So we unpacked and we just thought as we'd been travelling all day & most of the afternoon we wanted to just go to a restaurant and just have a relaxed evening, surprisingly we found a lovely little restaurant at the end of our street, luckily for me I took gsce French in high school but I could understand it more than I could speak it, so I could make out what people were saying. The next day we decided we was going to do all the different landmarks that Paris had to offer. So off we all went on the metro and visited everyone we could get to in one day. I managed to get so great photos so here is what we saw:

We had Notre Dame
The Louvre (Which you had to take a picture standing on the bricks holding the top of the pyramid)
Arc de Triomphe
Castle of Carcassonne

My favourite part of Paris had to be the Eiffel Tower! We had saw it during the day but I remember that on the hour every hour for roughly 5-10 minutes it will sparkle. So I managed to get some fantastic pictures of that which I have printed out and they look like they were done professionally.

So I cant believe its been over a year already! Will be looking to book to go again maybe end of this year or beginning of next! Definitely worth going if you haven't been!
Much love

Different hairstyles

What hairstyle suits me?

When it comes to hair, people may say different things. Such as people with natural curly hair will want straight hair, and vice versa for people with straight hair.

I think I've been put in the lucky department when it comes to my hair as I have naturally straight hair, so I wouldn't even need to use straighteners.

Weather is a big factor for how to style your hair from the length to the colour. As many people will change their hair to suit the season. I'm one who has never died her hair or bleached it as my hair is naturally blonde so it will turn blonde/whiteish in the summer and when it comes to winter it'll turn brunette.

Recently as I changed my jobs I thought I'd go get a new look. As with the job I'm in you have to look rather smart and presentable.

I loved my mid-length hair as I could curly it, French/dutch plait it, make different styles everyday, but after a while it just got to hot to deal with and drying my hair would take easily 20 minutes or more. I would always try to do different styles so I wasn't always looking the same.

So I booked a spontaneous hair appointment and thought lets go for a change before I change my mind. So sitting in the chair and looking down at all the hair that has been cut off (thinking to myself OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!?!?) I didn't want to look into the mirror just in case I didn't like it.

So when I finally did open my eyes and absolutely loved it! Here's the finished picture & help with some snapchat filters :)

So if your feeling like you need a change, just ring up your hairdressers and do something spontaneous! Just make sure you wont regret it afterwards!

Much love

Undecided still

What to base my blog on??

I still am unsure what I want my blog to be about, beauty, fashion, tutorials, reviews, places to visit.

I don't want to rush into one topic and then think half way through, I don't want to be talking about this, so I'll let it come to me what I should be writing about!

So I thought I'd just blog about my days out and things I've done recently.

So Friday morning around 8AM my mum and I decided we was going to do a spur of the moment shopping trip. As you'll read my blogs you'll get to know my family may have an obsession with IKEA! Fair to say probably 90% of my house furniture is IKEA!

So off we set to lakeside we went, we finally got there around half 9ish. Luckily we made it in time for the £1.50 breakfast. Got to love a full English breakfast!

As we go most likely more than 10 times a year, I could possibly walk through the whole store with my eyes closed. Pure skills there I know!! It's fair to say its hard not to just pick up everything you like and buy it, otherwise you'd find yourself in IKEA debit!!

So we found the one bit of furniture we ordered, luckily it was right in front of us & it wasn't too heavy.

We made our way through to self-service and scanned my IKEA family card.

So from this
