It's been a year already?!

A weekend in Paris

Facebook these days have come up with a new app which where you can see what you have done on a certain day over the years. Mine happened to be my holiday trip to Paris. I can't believe its been a year already! Wow time does fly past quick when your having fun!

So this trip we went from Sunday to Wednesday as it came up cheaper to start the holiday on the Sunday. There was my Mum, Uncle Ian & Auntie Claudia & my little cousin Rosey and myself obviously.

I think we left round 4:30AM to catch the first shuttle train to France. I remember I didn't sleep well that night so I mostly slept the whole car journey. Which is a good thing as I suffer from really bad travel sickness :(

So we arrived in Paris with my mum driving the car, she done a fantastic job considering she'd never drove aboard before and especially in France they drive on the right side of the road, so to get used to that took a while. We got to our IBIS hotel which was cosy and definitely worth the money.

So we unpacked and we just thought as we'd been travelling all day & most of the afternoon we wanted to just go to a restaurant and just have a relaxed evening, surprisingly we found a lovely little restaurant at the end of our street, luckily for me I took gsce French in high school but I could understand it more than I could speak it, so I could make out what people were saying. The next day we decided we was going to do all the different landmarks that Paris had to offer. So off we all went on the metro and visited everyone we could get to in one day. I managed to get so great photos so here is what we saw:

We had Notre Dame
The Louvre (Which you had to take a picture standing on the bricks holding the top of the pyramid)
Arc de Triomphe
Castle of Carcassonne

My favourite part of Paris had to be the Eiffel Tower! We had saw it during the day but I remember that on the hour every hour for roughly 5-10 minutes it will sparkle. So I managed to get some fantastic pictures of that which I have printed out and they look like they were done professionally.

So I cant believe its been over a year already! Will be looking to book to go again maybe end of this year or beginning of next! Definitely worth going if you haven't been!
Much love
xoxoxo
