🎃🎃 Trick or treat 🎃🎃

Happy Halloween

Halloween is definitely my 2nd favourite season of the year, that is after Christmas of course!!

I love the fact you can feel spooky and the whole witching hour and all the spirts come out to play, definitely sends the chills down my spine. There's people out there that might not believe in ghosts and all that but the people that do Halloween is the way to express their way to the spirts.

The best thing about Halloween has surely got to be the decorations and dressing up! As much as I'm classed as an adult, there is no age limit on dressing up and enjoying it! So this Halloween I managed to get my mum to dress up which rarely happens, as we had been invited to my auntie's Halloween party at her caravan park. My dad was dressed up as a Beetlejuice which is his favourite movie of all time so every year he is the same!

I was dressed up as Nancy from Oliver, any old excuse to go around singing Oom-pah-pah! My mum wasn't exactly feeling to great so she couldn't wear the costume she wanted to wear so luckily we just had a quick doctors apron and set that she put over her clothes but she still managed to look good in it.

This year I thought I would make a bruise on my face to make it realistic which I never thought after a few bits of lipstick and eye shadow and lip balm it would look really as I had more than a few people ask me how I got it and if I fell over or not. As most of my family know I'm quite accident prone to the max! Every year I put fake blood on what I like to call my Harry Potter scar that I got when I was 3 from falling up the stairs and slicing my head open! When my mum came home and looked at the final product she couldn't look at me properly as she said it looked exactly like it was 18 years ago. I said I would take that as a compliment. Here's what it looked like.

It took over 8 face wipes to get it off in the end, and all of dad's face paints took over 12 face wipes.

Also with work we had a Halloween promo for our machines which could only mean one thing to me, !!DECORATE THE STORE!!! My expert decorating skills were put to the test. But not blowing my own trumpet my shop looked amazingly great and spooky. Here's a few pictures of what it looked like:

Of course we couldn't have Halloween decorations without a pumpkin!

I also decorated our house which looked good but stupidly didn't take any pictures of it! Duhhh
But my dad and I splashed fake blood all over windows and placed my hands in some of it to make it look like we've trapped people in the house! We also put do not enter banners over the door with fake blood there too.

I must say opening the door to all the children dressed up was so cute! We went through 3 massive tins of sweets, I swear their multiplying every year! I'm not lying when I saw every time a child would knock on the door and say trick or treat I would give them the sweets and shut the door again and not even given the chance to sit back on the sofa before the door knocked again. Busy busy night that's for sure.

But over all it was definitely a good Halloween this year. So I hope you all had a great night too and got loads of sweets & candy!

But once Halloween is over only means one thing!

1 MONTH TILL CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I couldn't help and went out yesterday and brought some Christmas decorations and more presents. But with my cat Garfield I saw a cat jumper and of course I couldn't pass on not buying that. He looked adorable! I also got him a little bow tie to wear on Christmas day too!

So I hope you enjoyed this Halloween Blog. Will do another soon!
This is me signing out for today!
