Were going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo? How about you, you you?

Zoo Day Out!

When ever anyone mentions going to the zoo or anywhere that involves animals I am ALL there especially if they have giraffes there too! As they are my favourite animal of all time! But also makes me remember the children's old nursery rhyme about going to the zoo. I have the bad memory but I can easily remember things that happened well over 10 years ago! Opps!

So one day off we decided to go to Colchester Zoo! We had heard its a fantastic zoo and as we had been to Port lympne and Marwell Zoo and Monkey world we thought we should do this one. So the drive wasn't to bad actually but for someone that doesn't do well with travel I just slept most of the way there and back so it cut out more than half of the journey for me! Thank god! So when we got there, the zoo had just opened, luckily we booked online the day before and got % off the tickets as we pre-booked and done it online so we went to the station to pick the tickets up! So we walked through the entrance and to my surprise was a massive silver giraffe, I straight away took a picture of it! I could go on and on about how our day went but as I took so many pictures I might as well just show you a few of those, as they do say a picture speaks louder than words!

To top it off I got to FEED A GIRAFFE!!!
To anyone that knows me, know this is a big thing for me! 1 THING TICKED OF MY BUCKET LIST FOR SURE!!

But for anyone who is thinking of going out for the day to a zoo, this is the best place to be! Would recommend it to anyone! Thank you for the view & I hoped you liked the pictures!

Will post another blog soon as had an idea for one but wasn't to sure when to post it!
Talk soon!

Feeling like i'm 22

Everything will be alright, if we just keep dancing like were 22

Got to love when birthdays come around! They are of course one of my favourite times of the year other than Christmas and Halloween of course!!

As my birthday fell on a Tuesday this year it kind of restricted of what I could do for party ideas or meals out.
So my mum the whole week before kept saying we've got a surprise for you! As much as I love surprises I'm the type of person that likes to know times and plans on a day as it sets off my anxiety so I generally like to be planned at least a week in advanced which some people find absolutely crazy!  But there's nothing wrong with being organised! I even set out of side cabinet to be able to have my things set out all neat just in case I needed them!

So the day of my birthday finally arrived and annoyingly I went to bed early the night before and stupidly woke up at 3 in the morning, which I must say was not the best idea in the world! But luckily I managed to fall back to sleep and woke up around 8 ish! That's a bonus to me!!

Downstairs I went to find all my birthday cards and presents and even a massive bunch on flowers on the dining room table. That was my first surprise:
Got to admit it must be our tradition in our family to leave the price sticker on the back of the cards! So I thought I'd quickly give mum one more chances to tell me what she had planned but nope she would not say anything! So I opened to card to find this!!!!

I was so amazed and happy because I haven't had a proper massage in a long time and with my shoulders,I SOOO needed one! First of all I needed to get my nails re done as they were looking worse for wears so I went down to a nail salon down town and got them re done and painted into a nude colour which was
I choose this O.P.I colour as have never had O.P.I product before but thought I'm not one to have bright colours so when i saw this Barefoot Barcelona colour I fell in love straight away!

We then went onto the Bannatyne spa in Hastings we checked our self's in and grab the bags they give out to get into our swimming costumes to hit the pool and do a few lengths and sit in the hot tub! Definitely good chance to get a quick selfie in the bathrobes.
We done our swimming and relaxing and it was about an hour to our massage so we thought we might as well get something to eat which ended up being afternoon cream tea which includes a scone, jam, butter, clotted cream and a big pot of tea. You can't go wrong with a good scone and strawberry jam!

You must say the slippers are just the sexiest things in the world :P

We then came home and my auntie and my little cousins came round and we celebrate with a KFC birthday meal which I must say made a big difference to going out when I could just sit at home in my pj's not having to worry about how I looked to go out for the meal.

These girls of course made my night even better that's for sure! Hearing them run into the front room shouting "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEMA!!"

So my birthday went past and I planned a night out with my 2 best friends to go bowling in Eastbourne David Lloyd centre! I must say for a Saturday night out it wasn't expensive at all! We played 4 games in total and all 3 of us won at least 1 game but Hollie won the last game and got the highest score of the night which was 124! Go Hollie!!!

Here's a few pictures of the night:
<-- This whole plate of food only cost us £11.95 BARGIN!!

So over the night we managed to get through 2 bottles of rose wine and 4 games of bowling and walked quite straight to the train station but the night was amazing! So thank you girls for coming and making it an amazing 22nd birthday for me!

Hope when every your birthday is you guys have a fantastic day too!!

Will post another blog soon!

Much love

Happy Valentine's Day ❤❤

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Hope everyone has had a great day...

Valentine's Day can be a hit or miss for some people as to single people it is just another day which is good because you wouldn't be spending worrying if you had got the right present & card.

Luckily for myself me and my best friend every year always get each other valentines presents and cards which then makes us feel special! I always go over the top with her presents as when we're both single we might as make the most of it, last year I got her a dancing monkey that sang I'm sexy and I know it which her daughter Angel loved it! Definitely got annoying after a while that's for sure.
She got me a bear with a little red hoodie with hug me on it and a special card from Angel which I still have, from my bestie  she got us matching Disney pj's, and cooked me breakfast in bed, can't entirely remember what she cooked but it was yummy.

This year we decided to go overboard and we've booked ours selfs to go and watch fifty shades of darker in the cinema on Sunday in the Sussex exchange in basting which has recliner chairs and it's our mini bar for the VIP people so thought as its valentines we might as well go overboard and treat ourselfs, I also got her some little bits that our cheesy but it is our friendship that great stronger every year!

So for anyone of you who is celebrating Valentine's alone or with someone, I hope you are all having a great day and getting treated or treating yourself on a normal Tuesday.

Will post another blog post Sunday night with all the updates of the weekend!

Walking in a winter wonderland

Winter Wonderland

I asked my parents if we could finally go to winter wonderland as I had always seen pictures and videos and people always coming up to me saying its amazing, you should totally go!

So with it being the 10 years anniversary this year I was going to put my foot down to going!!
Luckily my mum dad and myself had the same day off, so we looked into going and funny enough my auntie and uncle and their children was going the same day as us! So we booked the magical ice kingdom straight away as that was the only thing we wanted to do because myself and ice skating DO NOT go together! Well they probably would but if I wanted to spend the night in A&E!

So mum drove up in the car as we wasn't going to risk stuck with all the train strikes going on, so probably was just under 2 hour drive up their as our booking for the kingdom was at 12.

So we finally got there and all I could say was Woah!

So we arrived at the ice kingdom and the first thing they do is take a picture of you!
They have loads of options what your background could be but we really liked the 2 polar bears which we thought was cute! But to my surprise after we got to the end to pay for the picture and picked it up and walked out, I went to look at it to find they had printed the wrong one so we managed to get 2 pictures for the price of £10 which isn't bad! Just thought how its so bad how it looks like a polar bear is really taken a liking to mum! opps!

The ice sculptures was brilliant!! I don't remember how many pictures I actually took in there!

We only managed to stay there for nearly 3 hours as it was the last day and because it was a bank holiday there was no alcohol which didn't bother us, but all the little stalls was all 50% off so a good time to go then if your wanting to buy anything from those stalls. It was so so cold though hint why we didn't stay long.

But the rides were fantastic, mum and I went on 2 rides so £12 each but they were worth every penny we paid for them!

So once Christmas comes around this year I will booking to go when its less cold and maybe go during the evening once it gets dark and all the lights are turned on!

Hope you enjoyed
xoxo
